Today traceability is one of the most important tools for international trade of food product. To ensure a full transparency of the production flow, a strong traceability system must be in place from the beginning of the production chain to the end. 

Today most of Vietnamese processing plans have already such system in place. The problem is that a product is safe when its production from the really beginning is safe.

We propose to implement a quality monitoring system on fish farm (Pangasius, shrimp, tilapia) to ensure that the filet produced with high quality feed, will reach occidental requirement for food safety, environment preservation and traceability.

The Quali-monitoring product is based on a pool of 11 documents. These documents will be used to inform the client of the production method. This package works in parallel with some farm diary called “Nhat Ky” in Vietnamese. These Nhat Ky gather all information regarding input used and environment parameter. The combination of the Quali-monitoring package and the Nhat Ky books will allow us to extract all information needed for the traceability of the lot. Traceability information is gathered in Excel sheet that can easily be transfered to anyone who has an interest on it. Data can also be kept several years without any risk.
